“Make it bigger, give it more data, and intelligence will inevitably emerge.”


For a few years, that was true.

Scaling was a cheat code to the universe.


It turned text prediction into emergent reasoning,

token co-occurrence into analogical structure,

and raw linguistic entropy into something resembling intelligence.

LLMs become average
